We all know what it’s like to end up without signal on your phone at an important time when we need it, but what if we tell you that you can find out the locations of such areas are where signal isn’t available before you get there? This site maps out the 2G, 3G or 4G signals from all over your country: www.aisemnal.ro
The national mobile signal coverage map is an IT platform with the help of which you can find out exactly what is the degree of coverage, but also the 2G, 3G and 4G signal level for each of the mobile operators active on the Romanian market.
“The ANCOM map website is a world premiere, being made exclusively based on field measurements and not a simulated map. It reflects the mobile signal coverage for all technologies available on the Romanian market at the time of measurements (2G / 3G / 4G) for all active mobile operators. We want this tool to become a reference for users, guiding them in choosing the most suitable telephony and internet offer, taking into account the coverage with voice and data services they will benefit from after concluding a contract ”
Impressive, isn’t it? It is an easy-to-use platform: to see what the national signal coverage is, choose a single operator and select one or more technologies – 2G, 3G or 4G. If you are interested in the signal level in a particular locality, search for the locality of interest or activate the location on your device and see the signal coverage where you are.
This platform also gives you information about the best places in Romania with the best or the weakest signal and also the signal levels inside or outside. This way, you can have a perfect overview and more than that… you can avoid being left without a signal “when you least expect it”.
„The ANCOM measurement campaign was carried out in order to verify to what extent the mobile telephony operators comply with the coverage obligations with voice services assumed by licenses. For almost 5 months we made measurements throughout Romania, in all locations with more than 10 inhabitants, covering over 240,000 km. It was a huge team effort, with over 250 specialists involved, and we are glad that we have a concrete result that will reflect the real coverage with voice signal throughout the country “, said Cristin POPA, ANCOM executive director.
Meanwhile, have you already looked for what signal coverage is in your area?
